The second annual International High Containment Biosafety Workshop was held at the Canadian Science Centre for Human and Animal Health in May 2004. Once again the workshop was a resounding success.

October 2004 Workshop Participants with Instructors and Staff

In October, 2004, the Canadian Science Centre for Human and Animal Health hosted a workshop for a delegation of scientists from Russia. Foreign Affairs Canada, through their Global Partnership Program, were able to arrange for these scientists to travel to Canada to learn about the Canadian approach to biosafety and biocontainment. The workshop was a huge success!
